DITCH THE WINTER BLUES FOR A WEEK OF SPRINTING IN THE SUN!
Winter training is tough… but couple that with the seemingly endless cold days, and even chillier nights, and you may find your motivation and training performance begin to take a turn for the worst.
A week away in the sun is the change of environment you need to revitalize both your body and your mind!
During Our Week Away You’ll:
Receive group coaching from me and my team (both on the track and in the gym).
Take part in 4 to 6 quality training sessions (each session is around 3-4 hours long).
Have dedicated time to focus on and improve your sprint technique.
Train, then relax for the rest of the day.
Connect with other (adult) athletes & sprinting enthusiasts.
Develop as a person and athlete in a positive and encouraging environment.
Enjoy consistent weather of around 20-22°C (in January).
Retreat away from the usual hustle and bustle of life.
Explore the beaches, food, and tourist attractions of the island.
Do whatever else you’d like to do during your free time!

The Details

The Pura Track Speed Camp takes place annually, the 3rd full week in January.
Our 2026 edition takes place from Monday, 19th January to Sunday, 25th January 2026!

The next camp will be held in Playa de las Americas, Tenerife Spain
One of the Canary Islands.

The adult who:
Is aged 18 years or over.
Enjoys sprinting either as a form of fitness or as a competitive athlete
Already trains regularly.
Wants to break up their winter training routine with a little sunshine.☀️
Likes to travel.
Desires professional coaching from me (Torema Thompson).
Would like to train with and connect with other sprinting enthusiasts.
Has no health reasons that would prevent them from taking part in a week long, high intensity, exercise programme.
(If you have any health issues, or are unsure whether this level of exercise will be suitable for you, please consult your doctor before signing up).

This includes 1 week of group coaching from me, contributions towards equipment costs, as well as track and gym fees.
Flights, food and accommodation are not included in the price and must be booked separately. See below for more details.

You are responsible for booking your own flights and accommodation.
The nearest airport to the track is Tenerife South Airport.
The track is located in Playa de las Americas. Booking a hotel in Playa de las Americas will ensure you're within walking distance from the track and gym.

Andorra Apartments
There are many other hotels and apartments in the area. It is advisable to book earlier rather than later as hotels in the area often get booked up! It is also advisable to include breakfast in your booking.
On the Monday, try to arrive before 2pm.
No activities are planned for Sunday so you can plan to leave whenever you like.

Track & gym fees are included in the £560 camp fee.
Both the track & gym are located in Playa de las Americas.
The track is called Antonia Dominguez Stadium.
We will be using Minimal Fitness Club for gym sessions.

Day 6: Track Session 3 / Group Lunch / Group Activity
Day 7: Free Time + Departure

This is just a provisional schedule, things may change according to track availability and scheduled events during that week.

Spaces are limited to 20 people. Once the spots are gone, they're gone! So make sure to sign up quickly!

As this is a training trip, you’ll need to make sure you have enough clothing to train each day, as well as your track spikes (advisable) and gym shoes (optional). One windproof/rainproof running jacket is advisable in case it rains.
It is advisable to also bring enough clothes for your free time. During the day the weather is lovely in Tenerife, but in the evenings it can get cooler so bringing a light jacket or hoodie for the evenings is recommended.
Most hotels have pools and there are also beaches in the area, so you may also like to bring your swimwear.
It’s extremely important to stay hydrated, so electrolyte tablets are recommended, as well as plenty of snacks to help you maintain your energy levels during the longer training sessions. This could be things like dried fruit, nuts, protein bars or energy gels.
There are plenty of places to eat in Tenerife, as well as things to do. You might want to ensure you have enough spending money to cover food and any additional outings or activities that we may do as a group (or that you may like to do individually).

Group sprint coaching (on the track and in the gym) for 1 week in Tenerife. Track and gym fees are included in the price. Flights, food, and accommodation are not included and must be booked separately.

All payments made are non-refundable.
You must be aged 18 or over on the 19th January 2026 to attend the Pura Track Speed Camp.
Paying the £560 camp fee secures your space as part of the Pura Track Speed Camp, and covers group coaching from Torema Thompson and her team, equipment contributions, and the necessary track and gym fees.
Flights, food and accommodation must be booked and organised separately.
Any additional group activities or outings are optional and not included in the £560 camp fee.
